25 civil society organizations condemn the recent violence and torture
VNHRN - November 6, 2014 The Vietnamese authorities have recently increased violent repressive actions against human rights activists. They used security forces in uniform and plain clothes or hired hooligans to attack defenseless citizens. This once again shows Vietnam’s shocking disregard for international law, especially when they just signed the United Nations Convention against Torture.
