INVITATION TO THE SEVENTH CONGRESS

 

 

Dear VNHRN’s Members and Friends:

 

You are respectfully invited to attend the Vietnam Human Rights Network's 7^th Congress to be held in Little Saigon, Southern California, on September 02, 03, and 04, 2005. 

The schedule is as follows:
 

1. Friday Sept.02, 2005 at 6:00PM: A pre-Congress fund-raising dinner that will include talks on human rights to be held at the Emerald Bay Seafood Restaurant, 5015-V W. Edinger Ave. Santa Ana, CA 92704.

2. Saturday Sept.03 from 8:30AM to 7:30PM, and Sunday Sept.04, from 8:30AM to 3PM: Conferences to take place at the conference room of Days Inn, 1108 N. Habor Blvd., Santa Ana, CA 92703

 

The following subjects will be covered during this congress:

1. Review of past activities,

2. Evaluation of the situation in and out of Vietnam,

3. Presentation of coming strategies and activities on the Congress’ main topic: “strengthening the support for human rights and democracy movements in Vietnam”

4. Election of the Network’s leadership for the coming term.

 

Please fill out the enclosed registration form and return it by August 15, 2005.  For further information, please contact the Network’s Coordinating Committee.  Your presence and active participation will greatly help contribute to the success of this important event.
